Kent Armstrong Soapbars /passive
Maple/Walnut neck

Im thinking of walnut for the body but dunno yet .still pondering.

Got this Locally sourced Elm Burr which is just wicked.
Cant wait to get started on it but it'll be a wee while before the shed is habitable..brrrr!

I love it when you guys call it Burr. That is just a fabulous piece. Used some English Wych Elm Bur(r)l for some raised door panels in a sideboard a few years ago. Gorgeous stuff. Cant wait to see the rest.

Going for this option
Walnut back..



Was seriously tempted to use the fiddleback sycamore on the back and just sandwich the Walnut in the middle.
But after much deliberation im sticking to my original plan with the walnut back, its a bit more subtle.

Anyhoo..fapping aside..
Neck dry clamped.
Carrying on with the same theme ...gone with maple/walnut and a black pinstripe to complement the body.
