| | | | Wow, nice! A 36 inch scale I don't think I could play, but hey, kudos to anyone who can! I'd probably have to play it like an upright to play those lower positions. Wow, though. Such nice work!

| | | | knobs for this bass I had to do more electronics work than the previous ones.
so when I went to figure out where the knobs were going I accidentally grabbed two black ones and two amber ones. when I laid them out on the bass it just ended up being in that pattern, I thought it looked cool and decided to use them as the knobs for the bass.
I like wooden knobs, but couldn't pass it up. |

| | | | no problem at all.
I've never grounded any instrument I've made so far.
I always end up making all the small parts.... nut, bridge, ect...
plus I try to only use high quality electronics and pickups.
do a good job sheilding all the cavitys and connector holes inbetween them.
this one has active electronics so it didn't need to be grounded anyhow.
previous ones had me worried at first, but after I learned that you don't have to ground the strings, you just have to take more care doing everything electrical up to that point, it took a load off my mind. |
