It's been 6 years since I last posted! Craaazy.
Looking to get more involved in the bass scene again and definitely on TalkBass. Lots of knowledge and helpful people here!
Here's what I've been building for the last couple of months, it's my first ever build so I don't think it's turned out TOO badly.
My main points to improve on would be *properly* routing the pickups using a template instead of rushed guess work and taking more time to plane everything down so it fits like a glove.
EDIT: Forgot to mention this was a hand tool build, I'm not fancy enough to own a bandsaw, circular saw or any of that stuff! I do have a router however. All sanding was done by hand. My hands hurt.

Abalone fret and top fret markers.
Black metal pot knobs although I'm making some nice Ebony ones for it soon.
Polished using homemade Beeswax/Olive Oil polish.
