This is the first Finn bass. It has been on the go for a while but due to some problems getting the headless hardware it has ground to a halt at the moment.

The spec
Finn body shape but modified to accommodate headless hardware.
Wenge body with a Bloodwood accent and a Mac Ebony top.
Neck Wenge/Bloodwood 5 piece with a Mac Ebony finger board with Bloodwood binding.

Thanks guys.
Wilser much appreciated coming from your good self.

I did point out that the bass would be a shade on the heavy side but the customer is ok with this. The body shape is pretty small and I will contour it as much as possible to take out some weight.
Alan

Wow!

I just found this thread, and I'm the customer

Alan has obviously kept me informed however on my own forum, but I didn't realise it was over here as well.

I wanted something very 'woody' and organic, I am used to playing Warwick Thumbs and Peavey T-40's so I can live with the weight....

Looking forward to watching this develop....

Steve

Hi Finn
Good to see you here, and for those who have noticed the name,it was supplied by the man himself in a competition I ran over on Finnbass to name the new model.

Where did you end up getting the hardware? I'm still waiting on an order from ETS for my latest headless build. Status says they will have more in stock soon, Bunker also has some interesting stuff, but the wait is still there.

ETS on this one. It took a while but the stuff is excellent. Try ABM if you are stuck.
