Hi
This is one of my new models in the process of being built. I have several new shapes which I will be building over the next few months any comments more than welcome.
The spec.
Body wood is Swamp Ash with a Walnut top and black veneer contrast line both from Larry at Gallery.
The neck is Wenge and the board is ebony.
The bass will have standard ACG spec.

You can see all the models at

The walnut grain really popped out nice. I also like the grain placement on the back.

I think a six string version of that would look really cool too! Nice design

Cheers Guys.
Dusty. I will have a 5 and 6 string available should anyone want one.
Thirsty. My brother did the site. We did not want a site which distracted people from the information we where trying to get over. To many bells and whistles and people start to look at the style and not the content.
I looked for the carbon here as well and came to the same conclusion.

If you wanted to try hollow carbon fiber round rods (I know it has been done before), you can get them from a kite shop. I found them online in the UK also.

Some more progress today.
The body has had some of the carving done and the neck attached.

I have also been working on a Recurve single cut.

You can see the spec at.

More work on both basses.
The pup routes on the Harlot and the neck shaped using an asymmetric profile on this neck. Got the control cavity routed and made up a bibinga cover plate for the Recurve.

Giel been keeping an eye on your latest creation looking very good.
Linas things will slow down a bit from now due to the neck for the Recurve still gluing up and the pre-amp for the Harlot is not ready. So all I will be doing now is fret leveling and sanding.
I will however be starting a Skelf bass and a Skelf single cut guitar, yes I know I look at guitar building as visiting the dark side.

More work on the Recurve today.
The pear wood semi-tone lines are in the board.
