I recently obtained a substantial piece of acrylic that I plan to build a '51-P body from. Its 1.25" thick, which, I'm thinking will cut some of the weight off; seems to be pretty heavy, but I haven't cut the body out yet.
Any thoughts/comments/experience as far as cutting/routing/polishing? Things I've read on the Web state that one could use standard woodworking tools to cut/rout, etc.
Needless, to say, any assistance is greatly appreciated! |
