| Acrylic bass body question

I'm planning on giving another shot at building a body out of a hunk of acrylic in my plastic and fiberglass ROP. In my last attemt, the body cracked. I was wondering if any of you pros have had any experiance building a body out of acrylic (or any other type of plastic for that matter) and could give me any pointers?
