Question Allparts JazzBass preamp 6410-010

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi !
I am new in Talkbass, maybe not posting this in the right place. (I did look around before )
I am building a bass based on fender JB PU's and am installing the preamp mentionned in the title. The thing looks great but is delivered with no documentation at all !
Has anyone installed one of these ? can I find a wiring diagram ? If Allparts sends me one, I will post it here if there is any interest.

Thumbs up Connecting the device

OK, I'l post my own reply: I met a guy in a music shop this morning and he took a look at the preamp (aLLPARTS pu 6410-010). It took him 10 minutes with a multimeter to find out how to connect the whole thing. Straight forward, could of found out by myself with a bit of logic. The thing doe's not really requier a diagram, the amp part being sunk in araldite or something. The rest is easy. You need a stereo female jack, a double battery container, battery connectors, knobs (4) telecaster style, but that is a question of taste. By the way, the axe will be flamed maple top on mahogany back, Chrome Hipshot hardware, "light amber" glossy finish, maple neck (mightyMite), through the body strings. Bye for now...
