Well this will probably be my last post with pictures until the next build. I was able to get some better photos with natural lighting today, and Christian also wanted a picture of the builder playing this bass. I may be biased, but this bass plays so good and sounds fantastic. I want to keep playing it but I don't want to wear out my welcome. I will leave it up to Christian to properly break in his new bass. I want to thank everyone for watching this thread and I will be starting some prototyping in the not too distant future which I will most likley document. Stay tuned, and here are the pictures. I will also be sending this bass out to AZ tomorrow so it will be in Christians hands this week. Enjoy:

Thank you all for all the kind words and support, it is greatly appreciated. I just wish that I had the time to produce a few more instruments like this one. 4 basses a year just leaves me itching for more, but it also forces me to appreciate each and every one that I build. I look forward to the next build, whenever that may be...

Andy, I am sure that this build will inspire others to be "one of the four" and reach into their savings and reach out to you. It would be the best money they could ever spend and for half the price of most Foderas!!!! I could not be happier and I have not even played the thing yet!

Just got my bass.... I am thrilled... Now I just have to wait until I get off of work to go home and play her! So very happy!!!! Andy.... It is beautiful!!! (Needs a little set up due to climate change) But after I raise the string height we will be ready for our close up! =)

Loving my new bass Andy!!!! Thank you again!!!! I can't keep my hands off it... One thing I wasn't expecting.... You can really thump on this bass (not that I am all that good at it) but it really has a great tone while doing it.... One word for this bass so far.... Inspiring!

I am so very happy to hear that you are breaking her in and enjoying the playability. I personally play a lot of slap and pop style, and got used to playing on a narrow spaced bass. I know that you wanted a narrow spacing for fingerstyle, but if you can develope the technique to pull off all styles, then that just makes you as a player that much better. Very excited to hear the recordings. Like I mentioned to you, I only have a cheap little practice amp, so it will be nice to hear it on a better recording. Have fun and make it your own.

Hahahaha please keep in mind I have only been playing bass for a few years... I was a cellist many moons ago... I am sure I am not doing Andy's bass any justice! What a great bass it is!!!!

I hope you enjoy it!
