Another neck bolt question
Sign in to disble this ad
How close to the fretboard can I go with the screws that hold the neck on?
It looks like it will be about 3/16" underneath the fretboard with the screws I have now.
How close do you go?

as long as you dont go through or into the fretboard then its fine. the neck wood wont crack or split at such thicknesses. maple is also quite sturdy (assuming your using it)
