They are for sale local to me, and the price is pretty tempting to buy a couple for future projects.

I'm not sure about one thing. The vendor says that the necks are 33" long (I'll asume that the 33" is the scale and not really the long of the neck itself) but they look a bit short for that scale if the fretboard length of the neck is compared to the headstock.

Those look like 34" scale necks to me. They just look like they've got gigantic headstocks. I'd guess the headstock is around 9" long, and since a 34" scale fretboard with 20 frets + the bit beyond it would be around 23 5/8" long, once you add that gigantic headstock (and the length of the tube... he might be counting that, too), you could conceivably be around 33" long.

Buy a kayak while you're at it.

NECK DIVE!!!
You might consider how these 25 unused bass necks got to be homeless. If you're still interested, definately go check them out on-site and take some measurements.

Obviously I would reshape the headstocks they are hideous! I was just curious, it is doubtful I will bother with them, maybe I will pick one up to practice fret dressing on or something.
