Bass making update

Okay...well...I haven't actually started yet, but here's a financial update:

I've still got old gear selling, and I've already got $$$ socked away in Paypal, so I'm on solid footing. I'm trying to strike a balance between the right tools, the required tools, and the right woods to start with. Of course, I keep stepping back and checking myself. I haven't bought anything yet (tools, wood), as I want to make sure I'm doing it right, and because I'm still waiting for some good used items to pop up. Once I've got a "workshop" set up and make my first cuts (hopefully on wood, not on fingers ) I'll let you know...thanks for all of your help!
