I don't know. But I think it'd be worth finding some elder wood and someone make them.

Wait, your photoshop image is a lefty and your actual bass is right handed? You're gonna have a bad time.

You could either flip your image or use it as is on the back. That would free up the image to not be compromised by routing/plates/pg's etc.

The process used to transfer the ink requires the ink to be face down on the wood. Thats why the image is flipped.

Your writing will be backwards!!!! Take this image as if on a righty bass, then mirror it so that it is a lefty (as in so righty w/ ink facing down)

You are 100% correct. I will have to flip the letters but not the template. Thank you!

No problem, I love this idea and i am looking forward to the results!!!

If using a clear pick guard or no pick guard have you considered inserting a plug to fill in the larger pickup rout for the neck pickup and rerouting it to be a perfect fit, since the wood grain is invisible, so will be the plug. Just a thought.

I dont 100% understand what you mean by plugging it. Do you have an example image i can look at?

Here is a fixed pic. Doesnt fit as well as the other way. I may have to re-write the quote.

The so do you you see how the neck pickup route is currently larger than the pickup? The idea is that if you filled that route with a piece of wood, and then rerouted the space to be a perfect fit with the pickup, then you wouldn't need the pick guard, just the control plate.

If you prefer a pick guard then you could just put a clear one on, but if you put a clear one on now, then their would be an ugly space visible between the edges of the pickup and the route.

Try moving the top line to the left so it is under the lower bout of the bass

With the control plate. Im thinking make it out of balsa, stain it. Put image over that. Then after image is applied clear coat the control plate to strengthen it. And I wont use a pickguard at all.
