Black limba body with maple neck?

Sign in to disble this ad
Would a black limba body look odd with a maple neck/fingerboard? I can't seem to find this combo anywhere. Usually you see rosewood/ebony or something dark with the limba. Just wondering if anybody has any pics of this combo or can steer me in the direction of some? Or at least tell me if it would clash like mad.

Thanks guys! But what I'm really looking for is one that has both the maple neck and fingerboard.

Thanks, yes. That's what I mean. I was a bit afraid that the pinkish maple of the neck would kind of clash with the greenish tone of the Black Limba.

That is a gorgeous piece of Black Limba. Be aware that it can also be pale blond. The Korina Vs and Explorers are the same species.

They do have the same body but not the maple fingerboard. That's what I'm wanting to know. And pale blond would be a good thing I would think.

Pink and green won't clash, pink is a derivative of red and red is the complementary colour to green on the colour wheel...

Yeah, I know all that. I'm a graphic designer. But will it look good on a bass, that's what I'm wondering.
