WHAAAT???

you could always trace the perimeter of a P-bass, or purchase a template from one of several eBay sellers. dimensions won't get you an accurate P-bass outline since the contours are more complex than can be detailed with simple dimensions

all the best,

R

Hi.

Welcome to TalkBass.

^+1 for what Rodent said, just trace it from an existing bass.

I couldn't care less, but You may want to lay off the caps, those make people jumpy .

Please, do fill up Your profile as well when you have time.

Regards
Sam

You may be able to purchase plans from an eBay seller for a nominal fee. I'm not a P-bass guy, but I have noticed various guitar plans on eBay.

Of course, I have no idea whether or not this infringes upon Fender's trademarks, and whether or not they are vigilant in enforcing same.

You're welcome.

When I made my first Les Paul shaped guitar some 25 years ago, I traced the shape from one that was hanging on the wall of a local music shop. Be polite and I'm sure they let You do the same where you live.

I'm not a Fender guy, quite the opposite really, so I can't help You with the drawing either.

I'm pretty sure they would have one on mimf.com. Look under the "solidbody guitars" section. You might have to pay a small fee for it.

Also if you do a search for it, it would probably help to spell it right...
