Well i just started stripping down an older Peavy that looks just like a fender that I'm overhauling

I'm staining the body and doing some minor carving and shaping to make it my own then doing a wood pickguard and some other stuff

I will be posting pictures once I get some extra time

i like the classic fender shape, but the horns are rediculously non-form fitting to the hand. i like it with the top horn is more erganomic to the shape of your hand

Yeah i would like to mod the horns
and since they are so big; i think they could be shaved to give a new look to the bass.

Hey I promise I"ll try to post some progress on this guitar soon

But I took the fendar looking body, cut down the horns for a little rounded looked and then cut a notch out where the back strap goes to mix things up....I did just finish cutting out the new wooden pickguard I'm making to match the new body shape

I'll show and tell more later
