ok im just starting on my first singlecut(2nd bass overall) and its going to be a set neck bass i was wondering about how to make the transition and neck taper with the upper bout of the body do i just like carve out a chunk of the body on the bass side of the neck and make it smoothe with the neck or what.

please help me!!!!!

tell me if im not being spicific enough

and ill try to elaborate more

also would it be easier to go neck-through because that is still an option at this point

Did you check out wilser's Great this is how I build a set neck joint and carve a neck tut in the How To section yet?
