Bolt-on single cut truss rod placement

Any of you guys do a bolt-on single cut where the truss rod is at the 24th fret? I've always done them at the nut.
I've only seen a handfull of ones done like this.

If you have, did you run into any issues getting an even adjustment across the neck?

I am doing a single cut 9 for a guy in California, I have found with about any Single cut, the bass side is co dependant on the treble side with dual truss rods. The truss rod adjustment on the treble will aid in adjusting the bass side more accurately. You have to develop a feel with 2 rods. With 1 rod, it can be much different as th neck naturally wants to flex away fro the thicker area of the bass side. I think a carbon stiffener on the treble side could aid in this differential.
These rods have all been adjusting at the heel.
I did a single cut for a guy in Costa Rica, and the neck has remained stable and straight with 1 rod. But the neck was Wenge and purpleheart.
This rod was at the head.

Single Rod I would do at the headstock rather than the heel on a single cut.
I don't know if this adds anything or makes it more confusing.....LOL

Thanks for the reply. I see what you mean.
Single cuts are quite tricky to get just right. Devil's in the details.

What I had in mind was a 5 piece maple with 2 3/8" wenge stringers, birdseye fingerboard, and single tr with carbon stiffener on each side. Neck will be a 5 string with 18mm spacing.

I'm doing my single cut bolt ons at the nut...seems like the body end is suitably reinforced enough already, if it helps.

I would have to agree with you. Between frets 12-24, there is almost no movement, and why try to have the tr push in an area that is so stiff already. It should go where it will be the most beneficial.
