Books on Bass Building?

Sign in to disble this ad
I LOVE watching build threads and bass builds progress, and I love learning about what you guys do. I might want to start learning about building instruments (basses in particular) some day (as a hobby) when I have the resources at hand. With that being said, I would love to find some good reading about building basses from scratch. Are there any good luthier books out there? I'm not sure I will find one dedicated to bass building, but I am sure there are some dedicated to instruments in general. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Read the Hiscocks book about a year ago and keep reading certain chapters from time to time when needed it. I started with Kochs books and its as good as Hiscocks. Definitely you gotta read both books.
