I was headed over to the Eastern Shore today and figured I'd check in with Brian after all of the great things I'd heard about his work. Went to his website and found that he passed away the 14th of December. I had never had the chance to meet him. RIP.

I just found out about this. I played a guy's BBO bass and liked it. It was the lightest bass I have ever touched. I balanced it on the upper horn jack and held it by one finger. Great bass. Great legacy.
