Glued feneer to the neckblank:
Slotted the fretboard (34") and glued the bindings (I don't know what it is with that cat, but she loves wood haha):
This is how it is at the moment:
Hope to finish it this week or next week |

After sanding I found out there is a light spalt in the headstock. I thought it was darker sandingdust but I can't sand it out |

(stringspacing looks a bit of to me, I have to adjust the saddles for the A and D
Not sure about the finish. I like high gloss but most of the time I think that's a bit too much for buckeye burl.. so I'm considering a satin fishish at the moment

Otherwise looks awesome. I think satin would look good, the high gloss is probably to much for the buckeye. Still looks awesome!!

I have a little wiggle room so it will be allright when I set it up after finishing. |
