Hey!
I got an Ibanez SR506 that I love everything about it EXCEPT the narrow body! I love the neck, i love the pups! I love everything but the body is way too small for me. I want someone to build me a bolt-on body with a single cut design. And I want it about 16" wide cuz I'm tall. Doesn't have to be exotic woods, just sound good. I will send the whole bass, just resuscitate the bolt on neck, the pups, bridge etc.... You can even keep the body as part of the deal.
Any takers?

Good luck.

Good luck. | the body isn't in lieu of payment. I fully expect to pay a luthier money. It's just theirs to do with what they want if they want it. I would look at s double cut too. It just needs to be a wider body

| | | | well, the bolt on necks are only bolted on at the heel, in a single cut, the bolts runn all the way up the side of the neck, to the 12th fret generally. and one side of the neck (the side with the bolts) is flat on the bottom and not rounded off.

If I could make up my mind, I'd be making some wood dust!

It is partly to solicit work but also to pick the expert brains here to see if such a thing is feasible or even worthwhile doing?
