Building the Ergonomic Guitar Forum – Shameless Plug

Sign in to disble this ad
My buddy has just created a Forum for ergonomic guitar design at http://buildingtheergonomicguitar.com/forum/ Give it a look and see if it’s something you might like. It is created as a community to share ideas about non-conventional guitar designs and ways to improve the ergonomics of guitar playing. There is the blog as well at http://buildingtheergonomicguitar.com/ There are a lot of eye opening designs on there. Yes, there are plenty of bass guitar designs. Check out this post for a cool bass design.

Sorry for the shameless plug,

Chad

I discovered this site before I found it here. I've taken inspiration from it to build my bass, and it really opened my eyes! The designs are unique because they defy the traditional styles of some basses that really have never been improved since they were invented.

My neck is going to be very thick, much like the Orchid. It really is more comfortable, especially for someone who is converting from a double bass.
