Burgundy Mist Metallic?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking about refinishing my fender jazz bass.
I want to refinish it in burgundy mist (favourite fender custom colour) with a matching headstock.

I've been looking but I can't seem to find it.

where can you find it in perth australia, the only place I've found that has it is Guitar Re-Ranch but they can't ship to australia.

Does anyone know?

Also is there anywhere that does chemical dipping?, so i can take it there and pay to have it quickly stripped.
and what else do I need for a refinish?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to know everything I need to before I jump to far in.

thanks alot in advance,

Josh

Go to an automotive paint store and have it mixed in Acrylic lacquer. Either have them put it in a spraycan or get a Preval system. Also, if you live near a majory city there should be stripping companys that strip auto bodies, or furniture, etc. If you do the stripping yourself, you can use a heatgun and scraper or use hot aircraft stripper.
