I work with carbon Fibre all day long and have made some carbon cavity covers and truss rod covers for a couple of my basses....
I was wondering if anybody else on here would potentially like one made.
I havent really thought about prices but i should be able to make them up for the same kind of price as the plastic alternatives.....maybe less.
This thread is really just to get some idea as to how much interest is out there for a product like this. |

If there seems to be a reasonable interest i would consider investing in standard pickguards and covers to use as templates but im sure your all aware that these arent cheap. I dont want to waste money before i do a little research into the potential market.
Thanks for the feedback so far. |

Are there any tonal differences?

What?
I'd like to hope that this is a joke, merely poking fun at all the tone-voodoo people. |

It isn't rocket science to make carbon fiber pieces for covers and such. The difficult thing is when you're making structural parts and that requires some pre-engineering for optimum performance |
