I've done a search for this wood in all the forums. Didn't find anything.
What's the deal with this mystery wood? What are the sonic properties of it? for a top/back of a bass? similar to other woods?

See also black poisonwood. Metopium Browneii.
It's medium-heavy in density, moderately oily, fine grained.
