chrome to black geddy build

Sign in to disble this ad
after months on the back burner i finally got my geddy built.

parts:

Geddy body
Allparts geddy neck with Fender decal (i bought it used with the decal before the fender fanboys tear me a new one)
75 Jazz RI pickups
generic machine heads, bridge and control plate

the bare body

cavities shielded

body and neck

pickups in place

hardware in place, notice how the black pickguard screws sets off the white guard.

all assembled!

i was originally going to route for a MM pickup in the bridge, but after months of thinking, i decided to keep it stock, as i already own a stingray and this is my first jazz.

i do however want to change the pickguard to black, so if anyone has one and wants to trade, hit me up.

the setup still needs a tweaking, but it plays and sounds great and is hum/buzz free!

Ditto on the Black Beauties. However, I think a black pearloid pickguard would look better than a solid black one.

The pickguards from

www.guitarpartsresource.com

fit my Geddy perfectly, and they have great customer service and speedy shipping.

Maybe, but not from the thread title.
