Is this crazy?

What does everyone here think of a converson from a traditional unlined fretless neck to a fannet-fret neck? Would it be just way too much trouble? Installing individual string bridges would be easy, but it seems like it would be a nightmare when it comes to dealing with the break angle over the nut. Anybody have any good ideas as to how to accomplish this?

Seems like a bit much trouble to me. I would imagine if you had the means to properly cut and install fanned frets, it would be just as easy for you to make a new neck from scratch.
