What do you guys think of this design?

It's a quick sketch I made.
Sorry it's kind of a bad picture. I had to use a camera.

Would like to see it as a 6-string.

It's either very long or very narrow.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I tend to draw basses and guitars too long.

That revised version looks pretty cool; I'd play that.

Looks very uncomfortable, at least seated.

+1

You would end up with a hole in the side of your leg

I should probably fix that. Or maybe never play it sitting...?

I can see a little bit of a singlecut ESP F series in it - but like bassteban said, the lower waist might need redesigning to play sitting.

But looks cool!

I would like to see this design with slightly wider hips... and an overall slant upward on the upper horn side like a jazz bass.

I've revised it again

Does this look better? And not stab you in the leg?
I made the waist wider, and made the neck wider, as if it was a 5/6 string.

I used google Sketchup and made a 3d version of it.

I'm not very good at Google Sketchup, but I think I did fairly well for the first time using it.

I put blocks on it to fill up the space where the bridge and pickups go.

Yeah, Not everyone is going to like this design.

I still need to do some final refinements before I start the actual project though. And I still need wood. The only thing I put on my wish list was "Wood for bass project"
