Engraving in pickguard material--who's really good at it?

I just bought an Electra Fakenbacker, and I was thinking of having a new truss rod cover made for it, NOT saying Rickenbacker but with some other word in the proper Ric font. Maybe my last name, or maybe a Dutch joke mentioned by a TB'er in the Netherlands, "Koekenbacker". I have a Dremel and can engrave, but if I'm going to go to the trouble of a new TRC ideally I'd like the font to be clean and tight, and I'm not that steady-handed.

So who (whether you, another individual, or a company) would be up to the task of engraving a TRC cleanly in the Ric font?

Couldn't you get that done at one of the stores that engraves gifts and trophys? They have a machine that just traces a typeface.

I'd go with Dan's idea ^

You'll probably find someone local who can fire it off in seconds on their engraving machine...

I would get some thin wood scrap, and make a wooden one, and just practice on them until it looks good for you.

Speaking of trophy shops, do you think they could do an engraving or decal on a headstock? I want to put masking tape over the are to be engraved, have it engraved, then black spray paint it. How do i make my own decals if i go that route? Sorry for interupting the topic btw.
