finger board

G'day People,
I currently live and work in Saudi Arabia but will be holidaying soon in New Orleans.
I am making an electric 5 string bass and have been able to purchase all the wood that I need here in Saudi, except something for the finger board.
Do any of you know where I could get a piece of ebony big enough for a 34" 5 string bass finger board, whilst I am in New Orleans?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
