Finishing an Ash Body

I bought an unfinished might mite jazz bass body of ebay. The add said it was sanded and sealed. It feels pretty smooth but could use a little bit more sanding. My question is what other prep would I need to do to spary this body with a solid color. I plan on using re ranch nitro primer, nitro Feista Red and nitro gloss clear.

Thanks Guys
