I've built a bass from rough lumber club #2 (I'm pretty sure).

You sure won't have any neck dive issue.

What's the scale length?

Ha, yeh i need to change those = ] there not as blue as it comes out in the photo

The scale length is just standard 34"
Neck dive is the one thing i was worried about, but i thought due to the length of the horn the pivot would be further up the bass and hopefully counter neck dive =S
We'll see

Well I'm glad that you corrected me about your sheets.

I think with that long horn you should be fine. I've built 36" scale basses and had the horn at the 15th fret, no dive.

What are you using for tuners?

A lot those "original" and "creative" body shapes I see on custom builds are just plain ugly.

Yours, on the other hand, is a very pleasing shape, even if the horn is a tad too long for my taste. I really like how there is no lower horn. It does also look sort of large in relation to the neck..... maybe that is just me, maybe it would look more natural when being held. The headstock looks good, too. From here it looks like almost the same shape as an SX?

All around it looks cooler than a lot of the ridiculously over-curved basses I've seen.

Wow! I really like that shape! Keep us updated on the progress (says the man who rarely works on his current build).

Yeh it is routed for kahler =D
I thought if i made my own i might aswell put one on.

I was looking to make an original shape but with out looking nasty or like something ugly out of star trek.
Cheers for the compliments i'm really pleased with the whole thing, i guess i agree with the oversized issue a little bit, if i was to do it again i might make the body smaller or maybe a larger scale length, but overall i'm pleased with the shape,
I havn't seen many other one horned bass'
I'll make sure i upload some phots when i've got the hardware on.
