first build: pickup installation

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm getting ready to instal a dimarzio dp127 split p pup in my first build. it is a p style bass and it will be the only pickup in the bass. I ordered 2 250k pots from AllParts and a 1/4 inch input jack.

Hmmmm....extra wire?

I'm pretty good at the wooden aspects of building, but am piss-poor at the electronics (i.e.: still learning, myself). I'm sure someone else will chime in here momentarily, or you could try the same question in the electronics forum.

Cheers,
Paul
