I started this bass about 2 months ago, been slow work because i work on it mostly in school so only like 35-45 minutes about 3-4 times a week. Reading these forums have helped so much with thing i had no idea where to even start with so I thank you guys for the great posts.

Wood Specs:

1pc Flamed Maple Neck
Alder body
Pau Ferro Fingerboard
Marbled Walnut Top

It will be tuned EADGC as opposed to BEADG

Crappy cell cam pic ^^
Ill try to get some better pics soon. (Thats just a really dark shadow around the neck btw, my brother mistook it as the neck pocket being too wide)

Personal taste: Pau Ferro will always looks nice and will warm up maples bright sound but I would add some contrast using some light color fretboard. It looks goods as it is now though.

As Jeronimo said ...nice first build!!!!

Thanks eleonn =], I agree about the contrast too, I am gonna make a fretted neck for it also sometime in the future with a light fretboard, probably birdseye maple.

I love that top. I want to see it with a finish on it. That will look so hot!

Update: Did walnut inlay dots on fretboard (can't really see them right in picture), drilled tuner holes, bolted on the neck.
New Pic, almost there once I finish winding the pickups I have to install them then finish sand everything for finish.
