first build, third try

I've been working, with my woodworking Dad's help, on my first build for some time now. After two botched necks, I decided to use some...less expensive things to finish this first build before I botch up my lovely, flamed maple-topped body. Anyway, it's coming along. The neck is hard maple, the body is basswood. It's not glued up yet. Still a HUGE amount of work to do.

Looks nice, the part of the knobs looks like an alembic.
