So I've been making bodies for a while and selling them off here and there. This is the first bass that I was comissioned to build.

The specs are as follows:

Poplar / mahogany body with control cover taken from neck
Walnut / maple neck with 1 5/8 purpleheart nut
Ebanol fretboard with super jumbo zero fret and vintage fretwire.
Gotoh 201 bridge
Hipshot tuners
Rio Grande Muy Grande 51p pickup
Webstrings .105 flats
Logo is branded

It seems that the second and third strings are closer to each other than to the first and forth strings.

You would be correct, sir. I really just wanted to get pics up. I'm correcting that today. I just need to deepen the slots a little because the second and third strings are slipping out.

I was hoping no one would notice but I should have known better.

Nice instrument, I especially like the plate for your pots, good way to recycle neck scraps. Tell me though, is that spalted maple?

I want one too! I like the the fact that is has that cut part so you don't lose circulation in your picking hand. What is the name for that "cut" anyway?

That particular piece of maple is a bit of a mystery to me. I happened across it at Menards of all places. It is completely solid and stiff in comparison to other maple I have. I don't think it could be officially called spalted... just weird.

I greatly appreciate the positive feedback from everyone.

And the string allignment has been corrected.
