First complete parts build!

Just ordered a guitarfetish P-bass body and all of the parts except a neck, pickup, strings, and tuning machines.

Gonna finish the body turquoise with a glossy clear.

Debating on going string-through though. Suggestions on that matter?

Also debating on using a strat jackplate instead of mounting it right onto the pickguard, but that will be determined after the finish is complete and I can lay out the parts.

Everything that was ordered should be here by mid week next week at the latest, so I'll be posting every step (and will probably have questions at almost every one haha) once I begin work!

Also, anything I should be aware of while working with the soft wood?

Wow I shouldn't have been posting that late at night. I ordered all but tuning machines and a neck. The neck resides in Clackamas (down the street) at the moment and tuning machines will be on their way soon. Getting ultralights to make an attempt to avoid neck dive with such a light body.

What's on the way is body, pickguard, pup, all electronics, strings (chromes) and bridge.

Again, sorry for the sleepy post last night:P
