I bought this Squier a few weeks ago. It was completely trashed beyond hope ( I really wish I`d taken pics along the way, but I didn`t really think I`d get this far). The prior owner had taken several cans of paint, a belt sander, Dremel, who knows what else to it. It had +20 dents, gouges, chips, etc. And where someone might relic some buckle rash, it had a crater. I bought it for nothing as a chance to see what I could do as far as testing the waters with repairs / refinishing. It was only the body that was trashed; the neck is fine. So after mucho sanding, filling, sanding some more, filling, priming, and oh yeah, some sanding

, I started applying paint. Rattle can, matte finish. After a few false starts in the paint application and - you guessed it - more sanding, here`s where I stand now. I`m very pleased with the results so far, and I learned
a lot. So now, I need some opinions: where do I go from here ? Scrap the color all together and go with something else ? PG or sans-PG ? Matching headstock ? Leave it matte, or clear gloss ? Throw it in the dumpster lol ? Pics are just a mockup, hence the hanging wire still attached to the body.
