Any comments would be appreciated.
Spec

Mahogany core black walnut front and back veneer contrast lines.
maple/wenge neck mac ebony board with matching headplate.
Hipshot ultralites and type A bridge
Custom made pickups
John East U-Retro pre-amp

Sounds good. Are you thinking a light accent veneer?

GREAT looking bass! I think it's interesting you went with a bolt-on design. Many singlecuts are either neck-thru or set neck.
Any more projects in the works?

I have a 4 string with a walnut body and lacewood front and back.
A 5 string mahogany body goncalo alves front and back.
A four string mahogany body with padauk front and back
The two 4 strings are the same style the 5 different.
I will also start on a new single cut to put right the couple of things that I am not happy with on the one above. It is a prototype to see if the design will work most of it worked really well but it is slightly neck heavy so I am not happy about that.
