Fixing a chip in the finish

I have a very small ship in the finish of my Greco Thunderbird which i want to sell.

how would i fix this ? or make it stand out less ?

There are many ways to go about it, probably the easiest for you would be to get some black enamel paint(little testors model paint would do)and dab it in with a toothpick. Takes a ittle time, bu with a few coats, it will fill the chip area, and mesh to the finish.

More involved way is to sand out the chip, shoot with black rattlecan lacquer(5 coats(), wetsand with with 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000 til smooth and invisible, and polish with rubbing compuond and wax.

Take your pick.

thanks, the enamel paint seems like the best way for me
