| I had one bass that had a flat/satin plastic-y finish. I liked it, but the matte-ness must have been only in the surface treatment rather than in the actual finish content, because where my arm rubbed and where my thumb rested it got polished shiny. So I ended up putting polish/wax on the whole thing to make it match.
