I just got my hands on an Ibanez RG7620 7 string. It needs some work. One of the bridge studs works fine, however on the other, the entire area where you insert the Alan head is busted off, and it wont turn in the socket/insert at all, and I've tried HARD to get it to move, with pliers and various other tools.. (Rusted, perhaps?)
Theres a bit of the stud sticking out that I can grab with the pliers, but the insert is mounted way too firmly in the wood to pull out by hand.
Anyways, how should I go about mending this? I'm thinking drill out the entire insert and buying a pair of new ones.
