Flux Core, and Rosin Core Solder???

What's the difference between the flux core and Rosin Core Solder???

I was under the impression that they are in fact, the same thing???

They are, aslong as its 60lead/40tin solder with flux core or Rosin (which is a flux) core solder. there is lead free solder out there, and quite frankly its ****, and doesnt mix at all with lead solder.

Just be sure to NEVER use acid core solder for any electrical or electronic work. That type of solder is for things like plumbing.
