Question fodera brazilian rosewood top question

Sign in to disble this ad
please look at the beautiful fodera 25th, it's the greatest bass top I have seen-brazilian rosewood top
http://www.martinmusicguitar.com/pro...0069&pid=31949
but have you noticed that the color of the BR is so black. that my first impression is an ebony top。。。I remember somebody say the true BR is always 25~70years, some rosewood grown in brazilian is also called or used as BR, so I wonder if the BR on this fodera is true or... NO OFFENCE

Your link doesn't work and there's no pic attached..

Other than that I think it is hard to say from a pic.

If its the one with the eagle inlaid into the top - then yeah, that could easily be BRW.

But there are a LOT of rosewoods that can look like that.

That looks like the same cut of wood used on the eagle top. Could be BRW.
