I don't think you'll need to find an "Epiphone expert" but instead any good luthier familiar with hollowbodies should be able to get that thing playable again.

you may want to attack this in two stages: take it to a person specializing in finishes and have it refinished first,
then give it you your tech guy to put together. If you are confident enough to call yourself a professional repair person, it doesn't matter what brand it is or hollow/solid/acoustic.
OR............. give it to me as a birthday present
