So I was cleaning out an area of my shed that had junk left from the previous owner and I came across 2 rolls of thin copper. I've been modding guitars for years and thinking of building a few for myself.
The rolls are 12" width and I have about 20' of it.
It cuts easily and cleanly with a good pair good scissors... would this be any good for sheilding the inside of the control and pup cavities?
(Also found was a very large roll of 24 guage tooling aluminum, any ideas what I can do with it?) |

You just have to cut and fit it into the cavity(s) and solder edges together. Fairly simple really, it just takes a little practice. |

Gonna check on the current price of copper to see what it's worth. |

"Yup!" was my only reply...... LOL |

That would be a cooler use IMO, since copper tape with adhesive is readily available when you need it for cavities. You might even be able to do the neck as well; it would be kind of a poor man's Ritter Royal. |
