fretboard / to radius or not to radius ?

I've read that flat fretboards are great for fretless . I realise that this subject is largely 'personal preferance' based , but am interested in personal experience and opinions ...

I second that!

but what I hear is that most folk round here like flatboard fretless. otherwise you can do what I am planning to do. start off with a flat board, if you don't like it radius it anyway.
