Fretless conversion... Need step by step instructions. Please!

Hey Guys,
I did a search and there was great info but I just wanted something all in one thread I can follow. I have an 04 Fender MIA J (with rosewood board) and want to convert it to fretless... The info I would like is:

1. Honestly, how hard is this going to be for someone with NO experience in woodworking or bass building - I mean I know how to set up basses, wire pickups, etc... But I've never messed with the wood (neck & body) itself.

2.Tools and materials necessary. Is epoxy really necessary if I plan to use flats?

3. Step by step instructions.

4. If my request is too time consuming, please recommend a good book for this.

My deepest thanks,
Yohann
