fretted build vs fretless build

is a fretted a lot harder to build than a fretless? Sorry i have no build experience and its just a question that popped into my head. thanks!

well a fretted build has fretting to do. which can be a pain to do, so in that sense, a fretted build can be harder to do than a fretless one. but really there's not much between it I don't think.

well, technically if you do a fretted neck... then you have 20 - 24 more things to do ;p

Its a lot harder to get the fretless fingerboard dead straight as opposed to 24 frets. I stuggle a lot more with making a perfect fb with a fretless.
